Chapter III fully online!

Here we go! The chapter is online. As usual, the corresponding link has been added to the right panel.

You've probably noticed that Humans are completely absent of the story. They are frequently mentionned but, for now, they have yet to appear. there is, of course, an explanation to this (you'll have to wait for this though...)

I just want to mention the parallel between the present situation in the world and what is in the comic. Keep this in mind when you read Cowboys in Orbit!

I tried along these two chapters to underline various issues of our current society that seem to me potentially dangerous. I used the concept of "ROMs", emotions creators, to warn the reader about the fact that feelings are overcoming reasoning nowadays.

With the quick flux of informations, we have a tendancy to react quicker to these and generally, without taking the time to analyze them. I'm not against Facebook and the internet, i use them a lot but how many times have I seen people "liking" or sharing informations that contradict their ideals? Under the pretext of very emotionnal stories (most of the time greatly exagerated), they share propaganda and false informations which, even if it's not clearly stated, are often fascist or racist.


One shocking example was in France, the story of the so-called Institute of Justice (sorry it's a french article: (http://www.rue89.com/2011/11/18/institut-pour-la-justice-hold-droite-sur-les-victimes-226627)). A video was posted, showing the testimony of a dad whose son was killed. He stated that the murderers didn't even go to jail. Everybody was shocked and shared the info. It was soon proved that the story was false and that it was a scam from the fascist French party.

A society based n the emotions is the perfect prey for dictators.
